Your Inner Artist as Your Guide
Art life coaching is a blend of creative inquiry and compassionate life coaching. We use expressive practices—journaling, creative writing, visual storytelling, singing, vocal improv and much more—to help you see your life more clearly and choose your next steps with heart.
Whether you are returning to creativity after a long pause, navigating a transition, or simply longing for more color and meaning in your days, this work meets you where you are.
Compassionate inquiry
We move gently through resistance, curiosity, and self-discovery without judgment.
Creative practice
Art becomes a mirror, revealing patterns, desires, and possibilities words alone may miss.
Improvisation
We say yes to the unexpected, letting spontaneity loosen the grip of perfectionism and awaken your inner child.
Creative Freedom
You choose your medium, your pace, and your direction. Here, there is no wrong way to create or become.
The creative force has been my most faithful companion

I write to understand my inner world and heal my relationship with the unknown.
I compose poems to transcend conventional speech, touch the mystic power of the word and expose the geography of the soul.
I sing to express my emotional palette and embody my unique energetic signature, my voice. I AM MUSIC.
I capture fleeting images and become humble to the transience of existence through the preciousness of each chosen frame of view.
Sometimes I think in pictures and sing inside without a sound. Sometimes poems grow like winged beings and turn into wisdom teachers to my future self. I witness, I feel, I express, I gather, I reassemble, I synthesize and take apart, I get close, I pull back, I learn, refine, then despair and get back to ground zero: that original raw spark along the electric circuit of any creative beginning.
The creative impulse has been my most faithful companion over more than 20 years. The creative flow was generous with me and did not choose a single outlet but many possibilities: I have worked as a videographer and photographer for over 15 years, written poetry since 2014 and published 2 poetry books, explored my natural singing voice across self-guided modalities, hosted Open Mic events and creative community circles and much more.
I have grown to realize that creativity is our birthright, our essential self, the life vest that comes to the rescue when the everyday pales or when we lose a sense of meaning or belonging. When we are at an impasse but no amount of thinking about a problem or talking it out can provide relief. In these moments, inspiration is at the edge of our perceived reality, waiting for the slightest invitation, the most minute inkling. All we need is a container. All we need is a chosen medium. All we need is a permission to start and not know exactly where we are going. Art becomes a powerful intimate guide of self unearthing and catharsis. For everyone, everywhere, all the time. Not a vocation, but a divine intervention. A deep process of inquiry and breakthrough, a direct manifestation of complete presence in the NOW, a meeting of the Creative Being with the Creative Deed.
Precisely because I have lived this profound transformation across many avenues of expression, I have taken on a new purpose: to share with you the power of creativity as a personal development tool or as your pathway to community connection.
I became certified as an Art Life Coach with an accredited institution and my journey as a facilitator and co-potentiator of your most lit-up, liberated and joyous self is just starting!

Where words, voice, and vision meet
A preview of my poems, vocal expression, video art, photography—each one a doorway into the creative soul and part of the toolbox we can tap into together.
Words that hold what the heart cannot yet name
Since 2014, I have used poetry as a primary tool of personal self-awareness, catharsis, self-therapy and integration on the path of becoming. Here are a few samples of my work.
Magnetic Dancer
On the courage of beginning something new.
So many doors to destiny Stay closed For those too blind to see To fight or flee Has never been the answer Become the Dancer Of magnetic hearts Burn down the fear And your life will start
Holy Daughter
On reclaiming the divine identity within.
Who am I, a mere stranger? On this path of hidden danger Shaman, Priestess, Holy Daughter? In this drought I’m hauling water Quenching thirst And drowning flames Ruling over the untamed
Old Skin
On self acceptance and letting go.
After falling comes each rise with delectable surprise Go on, celebrate the mess The parts of you you never blessed Spinning, grinning, and unwinding Curious and new threads finding Put your pride a while to sleep Let your old skin peel and weep
Masterpiece
On creativity.
Create your masterpiece With each intention With every mis-step, trial and error Springs well-earned wisdom, something better There are no meaningless attempts Your art shall craft and twist and mend The heart note on each sacred journey So bless each season and each leaf that's turning

Voice as a pathway home
The Natural Singer Approach My own vocal path has been shaped by more than 12 years of singing in open mics, a cappella groups, drum and song circles, and jam sessions. Along the way, I discovered that my voice opened most fully in contexts of freedom, presence, and experimentation, where technique served expression rather than overshadowing it. The Natural Singer approach welcomes technical awareness, but introduces it gently and at a pace that supports ease, confidence, and authenticity and enjoyment. The practice does not start with one size fits all technical exercises but rather, identifies where you are already strong, a "natural", and builds on that foundation. Rather than aiming to impress, we focus on singing to express, witness, embody, and belong. This work is especially supportive for those who want to feel more free, spontaneous, and connected in their voice, whether for personal joy, self-healing, or sharing with community.
A sample Natural Singer session
Less about “fixing” your voice and more about helping you feel at ease, expressive, and embodied while singing. It may include the following:
- •Brief conversation about your intention (i.e. overcoming performance anxiety, self-consciousness around voice, vocal confidence issues, getting creative with style/ genre, song interpretation)
- •Exploring the body as a resonating chamber (vocal yoga)
- •Call-and-response or echo singing to build ease
- •Improvised singing over a drone, rhythm, or simple accompaniment
- •Singing a familiar song with attention to feeling rather than perfection
- •Reflection on what felt freeing, blocked, or surprising
Frames of Embodiment
I've been a visual storyteller and worked extensively in the field of documentary videography, video art and photography. For my biographical documentary "Life After Babylon" I was awarded a New Paradigm Award at the San Francisco Earth Day Festival and the Awareness Festival in Los Angeles. Here is my most recent video art piece, Butoh Symphony.
A meditation on the archetypal human journey through the movement vocabulary of Butoh Dance
A sample Visual Storytelling session
A sample Visual Storytelling session would focus on translating lived experience into images, sequence, and mood. You could be at any stage of project development including onset or employing any format: photography, documentary, fiction, music video, self portraiture, non-narrative experimental art, etc. We may delve into the following to facilitate your visual creative process:
- •A short check-in on the story, memory, feeling, or theme you wish to express.
- •Storyboarding, mapping of narrative
- •Embodied exercises, like moving slowly through the feeling of the story
- •Visual motif discovery, such as recurring colors, objects, spaces
- •Memory-based prompt work, such as “What moment shaped this story?”
